Jakarta, 27 November 2023 – PT Neta Auto Indonesia (NETA), the leading electric car distributor company in Indonesia, held a symbolic first handover ceremony for the NETA V product. After the previous unit was handed over at the NETA Arista Tebet dealer on Saturday (25/ 11), today (27/11) NETA again held a handover ceremony at the NETA dealer Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. The event at the two dealers was attended by Mr. Zhang Yong as Co-founder & CEO of NETA Auto, where NETA directly handed over 100 NETA V units to consumers who had made orders via the pre-book system which was opened since the 2023 GIIAS event. This momentum also officially marks the distribution of NETA V units to all consumers in Indonesia.

This moment is not only limited to handing over units, but is also an opportunity for NETA to get to know the consumers present directly, listen to their aspirations, and motivate us to continue developing sophisticated and innovative electric vehicles. As one of the important markets in the ASEAN region, Indonesia has provided positive support to NETA since its first debut in Indonesia. In a series of events, Mr. Zhang Yong, CEO of NETA Global and Mr. Jason Ding as Managing Director of PT NETA Auto Indonesia conducted a symbolic unit handover session to 15 NETA consumers who were present. This moment is not only a historical milestone for NETA's journey in Indonesia, but also confirms that since its presence until now, NETA has succeeded in attracting automotive lovers by recording more than 250 NETA V SPKs. And in early November, NETA has also started sending units to consumers gradually.

Not only focusing on developing products with advanced technology and innovation, NETA also emphasizes its commitment to developing a dealer network in several regions in Indonesia with a target of 10 dealers which will be completed by the end of 2023. This step is of course not only to expand consumer reach, but also making it easy for those who want to own a NETA electric car, as well as enjoying premium after-sales service.

NETA's efforts to expand in Indonesia also show its seriousness on the production side. NETA will start local assembly of the NETA V electric vehicle in the form of Completely Knocked Down (CKD) in collaboration with PT Handal Indonesia Motor which will start operating in Q2 2024. This step not only aims to increase product availability locally, but also supports growth domestic manufacturing industry.
