Jakarta, August 27, 2024 – NETA Auto proudly announces the official launch of its latest model, the NETA X, in Thailand, one of the Southeast Asian countries. The launch has been met with positive enthusiasm, with NETA X achieving 1,000 SPKs (Sales Purchase Agreements) within just three days of its debut. This achievement marks a significant milestone for NETA Global in its global expansion efforts.

The introduction of NETA X to the Southeast Asian market is part of NETA's broader global strategy. This move is expected to strengthen NETA Auto's position as a major player in the electric vehicle industry in the region. Since the beginning of the year, NETA Auto has made significant strategic strides. In January, NETA Auto signed a strategic partnership contract with a local partner in Malaysia and established its third overseas factory in the country. This was followed by the start of large-scale production at the Eco-Smart NETA Auto Factory in Thailand in March, with an estimated annual production capacity of 30,000 units.

Ongoing progress is also reflected in the operations of NETA Auto's local factory in Indonesia, which began production in April 2024. This factory plays a crucial role in supporting local market needs while strengthening the regional distribution network. According to recent reports from IT House, Daniel Zhang, CEO of NETA Auto, stated that the launch of the NETA X in China is scheduled for August. This launch signifies the implementation of the company's global strategy to introduce its innovative models to international markets more aggressively.

In Indonesia, NETA X was introduced at the GIIAS 2024 pre-launch event in July, receiving a warm welcome and high public enthusiasm, with many visiting NETA booth and participating in test drives to experience its performance firsthand. The NETA X offers various advantages, including a spacious and comfortable interior (4,619 mm x 1,860 mm x 1,628 mm) that accommodates five people with a 2,770 mm wheelbase, and a double-decker trunk with a capacity of 508L (1,388L with the second-row seats folded), making it ideal for carrying cargo and long journey. The cabin is lined with soft leather and Alcantara, providing a luxurious and comfortable experience. Externally, the NETA X stands out with its avant-garde design, futuristic LED lighting, 360-degree cameras for enhanced safety, and full LED headlights with Intelligent High Beam. Powered by a 120 kW motor, 210 Nm of torque, and a 63.56 kWh battery that offers up to 480 km per charge, it comes in four colors: Glacier Blue, Jet Black, Sky Grey, and Pearl White. Key features include smart driving ADAS, DC Charge for efficient charging, and Vehicle to Load (V2L) for outdoor activities.
