Jakarta, 27 November 2023 – The leading electric car distributor company in Indonesia, PT Neta Auto Indonesia (NETA) has once again recorded its history by signing an agreement with the automotive company PT Handal Indonesia Motor (HIM). Taking place at the PT HIM assembly factory at the Bekasi Ungu Factory, this momentum is an important step to strengthen NETA's commitment to assembling electric cars with advanced and innovative technology locally in Indonesia.

This agreement signing event was directly attended by Zhang Yong as Co-founder & CEO of NETA Auto, and also witnessed by other members of the board of directors, namely Dai Dali as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chen Yiwen as Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Wang Chengjie as Vice President of NETA Auto Overseas Business Dept, and Jason Ding as Managing Director of NETA Auto Indonesia. From PT Handal Indonesia Motor, Jongkie Sugiarto as Deputy President Commissioner and Denny Siregar as President Director were also present at this session.

Zhang Yong as Co-founder & CEO of NETA Auto, in his statement, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the positive response of the Indonesian people towards NETA. The signing of this agreement is also the first step for NETA to start aggressively entering the electric car market in Indonesia. Since the beginning of its presence, NETA has been serious about bringing and introducing NETA products to the country by not only bringing superior products but also developing a dealer network in various regions. And with the collaboration between NETA and PT HIM, it is hoped that NETA's vision and mission can be realized in supporting the Indonesian Government in creating an electric vehicle ecosystem as the main alternative for domestic mobility in the future.

The local assembly process for NETA products at PT HIM will be implemented in completely knocked down (CKD) form and is scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2024. The first model to be assembled locally is the NETA V which has received a positive response and managed to record more than 250 SPK since its debut. This step is one of NETA's strategies to support domestic production, provide electric cars that suit the needs of the Indonesian people, and strengthen NETA's position as an electric car distributor company.

Furthermore, NETA also continues to develop its dealer network to strengthen after-sales services and provide the best service to consumers in various regions of Indonesia. By the end of 2023, NETA will present up to 10 3S dealers to reach more consumers.
