16 September 2025

Jakarta, September 16, 2025 – As public awareness of environmental preservation continues to grow, eco-friendly vehicles are gaining increasing traction among consumers. One of the most notable innovations in this space is the electric car, which is rapidly becoming a preferred choice for daily transportation. Whether for urban commuting or intercity travel, electric vehicles offer numerous advantages — from sleek, futuristic designs and advanced technologies that enhance comfort and safety, to user-friendly operation and low-maintenance features. These benefits position electric cars as an efficient, energy-saving, and sustainable mobility solution.
Among the electric vehicles drawing attention is the NETA V-II, which comes equipped with a range of modern features that support both comfort and practicality. One of its standout features, adding value for consumers, is the Traction Mode — a function specifically designed to assist users in parallel parking, a task that often poses challenges in urban areas where parking space is limited.
The Traction Mode, accessible via the Head Unit system in the NETA V-II, simplifies the parallel parking process without the need for manual keys. This user-friendly technology maximizes the vehicle's flexibility when it needs to be repositioned — for example, by parking attendants — without having to manually activate the entire vehicle system.
The availability of Traction Mode highlights NETA’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions that prioritize user comfort and convenience, particularly for drivers navigating the high mobility demands of big cities.
For those looking to learn how to easily perform parallel parking using the NETA V-II electric vehicle, here is a brief step-by-step guide:
1. Accessing Traction Mode via the NETA V-II Head Unit
On the NETA V-II Head Unit, go to the “My Vehicle” settings menu, scroll to the bottom, and select “Traction Mode”, which is represented by an icon resembling a towed vehicle. In the English version, this feature will appear as “Traction Mode.”
Once selected, a notification will appear indicating that upon activation, the vehicle will remain in N (Neutral) mode. Two options will then be displayed: OK and CANCEL.
While pressing the brake pedal, tap OK on the Head Unit screen to activate the Traction Mode. If successful, the transmission indicator on the Digital Instrument Cluster will change to [N] or NEUTRAL.
2. Locking the Doors and Moving the NETA V-II
After configuring the Traction Mode, users can lock and unlock the doors as usual and attempt to push the NETA V-II manually.
Wahyu Handaya, Training Manager at PT Neta Auto Indonesia, explained that the parallel parking feature, controllable directly from the Head Unit, is one of the key advantages of the NETA V-II.
“With this feature, users no longer need to use a manual key when parking. Everything can be done more simply and quickly through the touchscreen, making the parking experience much easier, more practical, and of course, more efficient,” he said.
Understanding how the parallel parking feature works can significantly assist NETA users when parking in tight or limited spaces. This innovation not only enhances comfort and ease of use but also reflects NETA’s ongoing commitment to providing modern mobility solutions tailored to the needs of Indonesia’s urban communities.
