Jakarta, 17 September 2024 - As part of ongoing efforts to introduce NETA X to the Indonesian public, PT NETA Auto Indonesia hosted an exclusive test drive event inviting journalists from various national media and automotive influencers. Over 100 participants had the opportunity to experience firsthand the performance and features of NETA's newest Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) throughout the day.

For this event, NETA Auto Indonesia provided a total of 14 NETA X units for media and key opinion leaders to test drive on various roads, showcasing the vehicle's robust performance, optimal driving comfort, and innovative features designed to meet modern mobility needs. The NETA Kelapa Gading dealership in North Jakarta and the NETA Arista Tebet dealership in South Jakarta served as starting points for this exciting media test drive event. During the NETA X test drive, participants were free to explore various routes and challenges according to their preferences. To add to the excitement, NETA Auto also provided engaging challenges that allowed participants to experience and maximize the features of NETA X.

Xperience Tech With NETA X

When navigating urban routes with congested traffic, participants could feel NETA X's premium character and top-notch comfort through its modern and futuristic interior design. With 80% of the NETA X interior upholstered in soft leather and Alcantara, the cabin feels luxurious and comfortable, even on long journeys. NETA Auto has meticulously covered high-touch areas with 100% soft leather to enhance driving comfort. NETA X also offers a spacious cabin for a medium-sized SUV, thanks to its dimensions of (L) 4,619 mm x (W) 1,860 mm x (H) 1,628 mm and a wheelbase of 2,770 mm, providing a comfortable oasis amidst traffic congestion. Drivers need not worry about traversing bumpy roads, as NETA X has a ground clearance of 156 mm and a 50:50 weight distribution, ensuring easy handling.

In terms of performance, NETA X delivers a maximum output of 120kW (175 hp) and 210 Nm of torque, providing a powerful driving experience and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9.5 seconds with a top speed of 150 km/h. The electric motor is powered by a 63.56 kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery equipped with Liquid Cooling HEPT 4.0 and an IP68+ Sealing Grade, making it safe to drive through water.

The combination of high performance and a large battery capacity enables the NETA X to achieve a range of up to 480 kilometers on a single full charge based on NEDC testing. Equipped with an Ultra Fast Charging feature of up to 105 kWh, the NETA X battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. Another notable feature is the adoption of a CCS2 (Combined Charging System 2) charging port, one of the most common and easily accessible charging ports at public charging stations in Indonesia for both regular and fast charging.

The NETA X is equipped with various advanced features that set it apart in its class. The front cabin features wireless phone charging, a 15.6-inch intelligent central control screen with a split-screen design, and a floating D-shaped steering wheel. The NETA X also comes with a V2L (vehicle-to-load) feature and a connected intelligent cockpit, providing a more satisfying driving experience that meets the needs of today's dynamic modern society. Safety is further enhanced with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) featuring 11 high-precision sensors and functions such as Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Changing Assist (LCA with BSD), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Lane Keep Assist (LKA), providing maximum protection during driving.

With the NETA X, NETA Auto aims to elevate the electric vehicle driving experience. The NETA X is designed with a monocoque structure using high-strength steel material, ensuring optimal safety during every journey. It is also equipped with anti-collision beams in the front, top, and sides of the vehicle, along with door-side crash beams. Tuned by MIRA, a professional chassis tuner, the NETA X chassis offers enhanced stability, comfort, and safety for everyday driving. Combined with independent MacPherson strut front suspension and multi-link rear suspension, the vehicle provides excellent handling and driving pleasure.

In terms of exterior design, the NETA X features an avant-garde look with a futuristic and high-tech appearance. It includes L-shaped LED DRLs, a 360-degree camera system for enhanced safety, and full LED headlights with intelligent high beam for improved visibility. At the rear, the NETA X features continuous taillights for a modern look and an electric power tailgate for convenience.
